We, or people we have contracted with, own or are licensed to use all the copyright, database rights or similar rights and information within the Site. Members are entitled to use the information and reproduce it in hard copy for your own personal use and reference only, or for non profit purposes such as teaching aids or to promote archaeology to a wider community without financial gain.

The information on the Site may not otherwise be reproduced, distributed or transmitted to any other person or incorporated in any way into another document or other material without our prior written approval.

You must not alter or try to alter any words, data, image or other item on the Site unless agreed in advance with archtools editorial team.

We treat all information as private and confidential, any information we do collect is kept in a secure location.  We will only use information supplied for the purpose of promoting archaeology and keeping you informed of the latest developments in the field.

You may receive e-mails from archnews, and archnews alone with regard to the occasional special offer, announcements etc. Your email address is used solely for this purpose.

We do not, and will not sell or release information provided by you to any third parties, except when in connection with your own order(s), Unless required by law.

Advertising and Sponsorship

Part of the Site may contain advertising and sponsorship. Advertisers and Sponsors are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Site complies with relevant laws and codes. We will not be responsible for any error or inaccuracy in advertising and sponsorship.

This policy is the agreement for admission to our forum. In joining the Archnews Forum you agree to comply, and are obliged to comply with the following conditions when joining and before using the Archnews forum.

Archnews cannot be held responsible for any hacking or cracking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

Rules enforcement procedures

Our rules are enforced by our moderators, and administrators, who have the power to move, edit or delete messages as required. They can and may issue user warnings and may remover a posting if required.

Archnews administrators may amend rules at any time. It is your responsibility as a poster to ensure you are always abiding by the rules of our community.

Forum members who break a rule will usually be warned, however if the breach is serious enough you may be removed from the forum
